What “custom” really means here
Custom means custom. Not a plan with a few options swapped out, but a home designed from the ground up around a specific family and a specific lot — its orientation, its light, its slope, its views. It means the kitchen is sized for the way you cook and gather, the mudroom lands where you actually come in, and the primary suite faces the light you want to wake up to. Every home we build is different, because every family is.
Design-led
Design-led from the first sketch
We start with you and the land, then design outward. Working in-house or alongside your architect and interior designer, we develop the plan, the elevations, and the feel of the home together, keeping your budget in the room the whole time so design and cost move as one. The result is a home that solves your problems specifically — not a beautiful shell you then have to live around.
Where you’ll build
Build on your lot, or in one of our communities
If you already own land, we’d love to see it — much of the best design work happens in responding to a specific site. If you don’t, we can build in a Black Cedar community such as Magnolia, or help you evaluate a lot before you buy. Either way, the design standard is the same.
